Tenant Improvements to expand existing operations into the adjacent suite onthe 1st floor of a 2-story building. The project included new chemistry labs, analytical labs, process development labs, a large all-hands lunch room andcorporate office space. FOLIO architects transformed the existing space by designing a more open layout to bring in natural light and collaborative spaces between the offices and labs. Common areas were designed and furnished for impromptu meetings and collaboration with abundance of natural lighting and improved acoustics.
An existing warehouse was creatively transformed into an all hands meeting, lunch and collaboration space, with large glass rollup doors providing natural light, visual and physical connectivity to an inviting patio. The patio combined elements of softscape and hardscape with varied seating arrangements to provide an extension of the lively, hub of the company.
