The California Innovation Center was established to facilitate science and business experts to collaborate with academia and start-up biotech innovators to accelerate cutting edge science into healthcare solutions. Key goals for the space were to create a welcoming, casual and collaborative environment that encouraged interaction and team work. Raw concrete, weathered steel contrast sharply with vibrant, contemporary finishes and furnishings. An abundance of natural light was incorporated into design to create a warm and welcoming ambience.
